Head over into your email and open up a new email with your email signature. Copy only the text in your signature. You’ll upload any images like a company logo later so it’s important you don’t include any image when you copy your signature.
Your links will automatically copy over. As a best practice be sure to include links in your signature. In addition to linking to your social profiles like LinkedIn and Twitter, the best links are to relevant content that will engage your prospects. Now, when I Tout my emails I’ll be able to get tracking not only on the body of my email, but also the links in my signature.
You can use the formatting tool bar to edit or remove formatting, change the font, size, etc.
You may have your company logo, social profile icons or any other image in your signature.
Click on the mountain icon then select the Upload Tab and choose file.
Be sure you use the uploader to upload your signature. When images are copied and pasted into a signature they will show up as attachments versus embedded into the email signature. All and all by having your images embedded into your signature, your email will look professional and cleaner.
When you send an email, a group email or launch a campaign from your CRM, within ToutApp.com or from any website where you see the icon you’re new ToutApp signature will automatically append to the bottom of your email. Any emails sent from your CRM or through ToutApp will have a consistent look to emails sent from your email client.
Include relevant blog posts or articles that align with your prospect’s business goals, initiatives and needs. If you share content through LinkedIn or Twitter, update your signature weekly with your latest post.
Make it easy for your prospect to reach you. Include your phone number in your signature.
You should always include a call to action in your email body. Your signature give you another opportunity to guide your buyer to take action. Include a call to action to register for a webinar, attend an event, read the article you are sharing, etc.
Don’t overwhelm your prospect with too many images in your signature, ways to contact you (they probably don’t need your fax number) or a signature that is overly formatted with colors. Keep it simple! Here’s an example
